TN Promise and FAFSA
The Tennessee Promise deadline is the end of the day on October 31.
You can tell that you’ve completed the short application process if you receive a confirmation email. If you didn’t get the email, then you didn’t complete the application. A common mistake is creating the account, but not doing the next step, which is applying for Tennessee Promise. If you have taken, or are taking, a Dual Enrollment class, then you’ve already created the account. You just need to apply for Tennessee Promise. Don’t wait until November 1, even if you’ve begun the process before the end of October. If you do, then it’s too late. Tennessee Promise will no longer be an option for you.
